Breaking Barriers: Cannabis Solutions for Diabetic Neuropathy

Join Ryan Semera NP in this insightful webinar on the role of medicinal cannabis as a potential therapy for diabetic neuropathy.

About the webinar

Diabetic neuropathy, affecting up to 50% of individuals with diabetes, presents with chronic pain, numbness, tingling, and sensory loss, often leading to reduced mobility, psychological distress, and diminished quality of life. Conventional treatments frequently provide insufficient relief or cause intolerable side effects, highlighting the need for innovative solutions. This webinar examines medicinal cannabis as an adjunct or alternative therapy for diabetic neuropathy. Participants will explore its mechanisms, including modulation of pain and inflammation through the endocannabinoid system, supported by evidence from clinical trials. Practical dosing strategies and administration methods will also be discussed to support tailored patient care. Designed to equip healthcare professionals with tools to integrate medicinal cannabis safely, the session also addresses side effects, drug interactions, and legal considerations, ensuring ethical and effective practice.
