About the Educator

Dr Joel Wren graduated from University of Queensland, worked at the Mackay Base Hospital and quickly found that patients preferred natural therapies where possible. He then worked for a specialist cannabis clinic for 12 months, developing skills in cannabinoid medicine. Dr Wren is currently a GP registrar, working in South Australia and incorporates cannabis medicine into his everyday practice where appropriate. He has presented to the WHO Commission of Narcotic Drugs on behalf of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians and has recently become the Vice President of the Australian Chapter of the SCC.
